Hemendra has over 23 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, management consulting and investment banking. Hemendra in his career has invested in several early stage agritech companies and SMEs in food
processing and agricultural supply chain. He is a mentor, investor and board member in many food and ag-tech start-ups working on innovations in agri-inputs, market linkages, mechanization, food nutrition and farmer financing.
Hemendra is co-founder of ThinkAg – a platform for accelerating the adoption of innovations in agriculture. He is also working as Venture Partner with Bharat Innovation Fund –investing in deep-tech start-ups across sectors. In his previous assignments; he has worked with SEAF, Yes Bank, Rabobank, KSA Technopak and ORG-MARG. He has authored many papers on the subject and speaks regularly at conferences pertaining to food and agribusiness sector as well as start-up ecosystem. He is a management graduate from IIM (Ahmedabad)
and Agricultural Engineer from Rajasthan Agricultural University.

From PhD onward, I am involved in solar energy research and so far worked in India, UAE and South Africa. I worked mainly in academic domain which involved research and teaching responsibilities. Recently, at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, I worked on an analysis of the social and technical value of expanding the renewable energy (especially Solar energy) sector in South Africa, and the region. During my PhD research projects, I studied and worked on various solar thermal technologies and developed a novel solar thermal technology for rural and industrial application.

As the chief investment officer at Indigram, Ashish leads the fundraising and investment strategies for Indigram, along with the building external relations with variety of stakeholders. Ashish is active in various events in the investment ecosystem, networking with founders, VCs, accelerators, incubators and investors, anaylzing and getting quality incubatees.
Prior to Indigram, he worked as the Chief Operating Officer at the Federation of Indian FPO’s & Aggregators where he provided strategic leadership to the company's Agro commodity international trading business.
He has also worked in the financial space with some of the prestigious names such as Morgan Stanley (Singapore office), GE International & Global Business arm, GE Energy, and GE Consumer & Industrial division.
